The Private Airfield mod was created for those times when airbases are too far apart on DCS maps, making it take too long to reach the action—or simply for those who think it would be fun to build an airbase wherever they like.
Of course, since this isn't an official DCS airfield, there are various issues. AI is not supported, some FC4 base aircraft have spawn problems, and depending on the sun's position, you might see strange shadows.
It's not realistic, but it's a fictional mod for people who think, "Wouldn't it be convenient to have a runway wherever I want?"
I hope it adds a little extra fun to your DCS life.

■Known Issues
・LOD has not been created yet.
・Mods using FC4 (FC2024) or FC4-based aircraft often fail to spawn correctly on runways.
・Some aircraft using FC4 (FC2024) or FC4-based mods experience vibrations and structural damage when coming to a stop on the runway.
・Due to the short ski-jump-style runway, excessive stress on the landing gear or tires can cause failures. To reduce the load, it is recommended to pull back on the stick during takeoff.
・Some aircraft cannot take off due to the short runway, or they may be too heavy with certain loadouts to become airborne.
・Helicopter spawn positions are not properly configured.
・Landings are generally difficult because the runways are short.
■How to install
To install the mod, place the Mods folder into your Saved Games DCS directory, specifically under DCS\Mods\tech\.
This mod is released as freeware.
